Information We Collect

Cryptonx'26 uses Google Sign-In restricted to GSV student Google accounts. When you sign in, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google.

Once signed in, we store the following in our Realtime Database, tied to your account:

• Display name — shown on the leaderboard.
• Points and level progress — updated as you solve levels.
• Account status flags — e.g. whether your entry is hidden or banned from the hunt.

How We Use It

• To verify you're an eligible participant before letting you play.
• To track your progress and points across levels.
• To display your name and rank on the public leaderboard, unless your entry is marked hidden.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties, and we don't use it for advertising.

Where It's Stored

Your data is being shared with the oldest tech club of GSV TC a third-party service. Google's own privacy policy governs how Firebase handles data at the infrastructure level.
